The designs are primarily for the double glazing market, doors, windows, fanlights etc., but can be adapted to other glass items, like mirror or sun catchers for example. Old fashioned stained glass can be copied, personal designs like family crests, favourite football team crests etc., more or less anything within reason can be produced. (e.g. Mr and Mrs Fox wanted a Fox on their front door).
The two main mediums are lead and resin. Lead is put on by hand, with film for colouring. Resin is put on by machine, the design being formulated on the computer using a CAD programme and much more detail can be achieved using this method rather than lead. Glass bevels can also be integrated into the design, although this is normally only with lead.
